Oh my god what a beautiful and huge museum. The architecture was just georgeous. We were talking about how sad it is we'll NEVER build anything like this again. Just temporary aluminum junk.

Hey! Thats my job you're talking about. But, yes buildings nowasays do not have the aesthetics nor the longevity of the older buildings.

Oops, sorry Shawn. But from what I've seen, the buildings you work with have unique designs. Maybe you just show me the good stuff tho. I'm thinking about all the quick and dirty buildings we toss up, like the shit on Alberta street. I've been thinking a lot about how since 1960 our culture just seems to be on a crescending path of making more and more junk with less and less character/durability. Nothing will be around in 50 years that we make today, and I can't at all imagine anyone would be saying "damn, they just don't make the automobiles like a 1986 Camry anymore.." or "damn, people dressed cool in 1998!" or "damn, look at the architecture on this Post Office built in 2001!" Sad, really. We just don't give a shit about much more than the immediate moment.

Take a stroll through Grand Central Station too. Over on 42nd. Then hit the Nat Sherman flagship store at 42nd and 5th. Rock.
Yeah, that place rocks! Free cigarettes that are really good!
